GOOD TO KNOW
Here you will find a practical guide for the proper care of your candle.
First Use
When using the candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours until the wax on the surface has fully melted.
Wick Care
It is very important to regularly trim the wick using a wick trimmer (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm). This will ensure proper combustion, a stable flame, and prevent the wax from becoming contaminated with burned wick particles.
After each use, make sure to re-center the wick in the wax so that it burns evenly.
Colour of the Wax
If you have a La Fille candle, you will notice its ivory-off white colour when it burns for several hours. You may observe a slight change in colour. This is normal; the wax used in manufacturing is honey-coloured, so the candle will naturally change colour as it burns. You can learn more about our manufacturing process in the article provided.

Light Exposure
Candles exposed to direct sunlight or strong light sources may change colour. For optimal care, store the candle in its original box after use and once it has cooled.
Ambient Temperature
Sudden temperature changes can also affect the colour of the candle. Avoid placing your candle outside or near a heat source.
